Across the Bay 10K

On Sunday, November 8th, I competed (more like enjoyed the company of 20 thousand other participants) in the Across the Bay 10k race. The race took place in Annapolis, MD and primarily consisted of a run across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge which is nearly 5 miles long. I decided to participate in this race to help train for my 2016 Key to Keys ride. This was also my first 10k race which I’ve participated in since 2012 (I think) when I did the 2012 YMCA Turkey Trot 10k in Virginia Beach, VA.

I was planning on maintaining a 9:30 min/mile pace which I achieved, resulting in an official race time of 58:23.
